In this troubled time the filmmaker remembers Méliès’s Trip to the Moon. And a stunning
visual dialogue with a great lover of imagination was created.
Has humanity gone so long a way just to be trapped in the present of time as we experience?
Has humanity gone so long a way just to forget that we are part of a bigger self?
Has humanity gone so long a way just to let our true self be thrown so far away from our true
self, so far away that we can’t recognize it?
Would we know beauty of all that is and can be without imagination?
Thus, in the process of dialogue between Méliès’s Trip to the Moon and my own visual
material I created a short experimental film: MÉLIÈS Thank You!
L’imagination crée la réalité n’est-ce pas?!
Par ces temps troublés, le réalisateur repense au “Voyage dans la Lune” de Méliès. Et un dialogue visuel saisissant avec ce grand amoureux de l’imaginaire a été créé.
L’humanité a-t-elle fait un si long chemin pour être piégée dans le temps présent tel que nous en faisant l’expérience?

L’humanité a-t-elle fait un si long chemin pour laisser notre véritable nous être jeté si nous de nous même, tellement loin que l’on ne peut plus le reconnaître?
Est-ce que l’on connaîtrait la beauté de tout ce qui est et peut être sans l’imagination?
Ainsi, dans le procédé de dialogue entre “Le Voyage dans la Lune” de Méliès et mon propre matériel visuel, j’ai créé un court-métrage expérimental: MÉLIÈS Thank You!
