Signaux réglementaires filmés en 16 mm avant d’être traités à la main avec du caffenol et soumis à une corrosion analogique et numérique alors que le son a été enregistré et manipulé à l’aide d’un géophone et de micros de contact. Ainsi EOJ réinvente-t-il l’anxiété provoquée par l’hypersensibilité à la caféine et la pression du conditionnement social. Il présente l’hypersensibilité non pas comme une faiblesse, mais comme une résistance, redirigeant l’énergie chaotique vers l’intérieur, vers un esprit rebelle qui défie la discipline du corps moderne.

EOJ reimagines the anxiety induced by caffeine hypersensitivity and the pressures of social conditioning. It frames hypersensitivity not as weakness, but as resistance, redirecting chaotic energy inward to a disobedient mind that defies the discipline of the modern body.
