Nous sommes dans l’éternel cycle de l’abîme. Aller contre est une forme de manifestation : civilisation contre nature ; humanité contre animalité. À quel moment la rupture est-elle arrivée ? Sans y répondre, nous sommes conscients que nous ne pouvons plus continuer ainsi.
La réalisation originelle en super 8, sans son, réclame le 18 images/seconde, en écho aux rythmes incarnés des fourmis. La version numérique filmée en 24 images/seconde, a été achevée pour 29 images/seconde, afin d’accélérer la perception visuelle et sonore.
PS : Aucune caméra n’a été blessée pendant la réalisation de ce film.

We are in the eternal cycle of abyss. Going against something is a form of manifestation. Civilization against nature. Humanity against animality. Since when did we break up? We can no longer continue in the same system.
This film was made in a sound striped super 8 with the intention of projecting it in 18fps, which corresponds with the embodied rhythms of ants. The digital version presented here was filmed in 24fps, and consequently finalized in 29fps, which accelerates the visual/sonic perception. The best way to experience it is obviously in film projection, and I hope to present it in person one day.
